Seal of Sin The Angel's Forbidden

There is an angel in Heaven named Gabriel — silver-haired, twelve-winged. There is a demoness in Hell named Lilith, wrapped in crimson mist. That they love each other is, by heavenly law, a capital crime. To erase that love, Heaven tore out Gabriel's memory and scattered it across the world in six shards. Three hundred years later the two meet again. Gabriel does not remember her; seeing only a demoness, she means to seal her — while Lilith has been trying, all along, to wake her memory. Then Gabriel stumbles upon Yuris, Lord of Heaven, about to kill Lilith to bury a secret from long ago. To get to the truth, Gabriel saves her and strikes a bargain: together they will walk the road that leads back to every shard. They pass through Edessa, held by a Cyclops, and save its mortals. They cross waters haunted by Sirens and shield the merfolk. In the sea-born city they expose the Sea Lord's plot and free the witch and the townsfolk. On the Isle of Winds, where a thousand flowers bloom, they guard the spirits of the island. At the Thousand-Forked Gate, where Hell and Heaven meet, Gabriel finds herself — and faces a choice with no clean answer.Every shard recovered lights another point of the six-pointed star on her brow and returns another piece of her past with Lilith, and the truth draws one step nearer. Along the way it also wakes her love for Lilith. In the end the two of them expose Yuris's ancient conspiracy together, and with love itself break the law that forbade love — so that every living being may love freely. The price is their own: they scatter into golden light and crimson mist. A thousand years later, wearing new faces, they meet again — and a new story begins.
