While sorting through her late father's belongings, photographer Evelyn Hartwell discovered that an old DV camera, when rewinding, could reveal traces invisible to the naked eye—fingerprints, footprints, and residual body heat. Following those blue luminescent marks, she tracked down her half-sister, Lilith, and unraveled a lie her mother had buried for twenty years. She uncovered the truth: her father had never died, but had been made a scapegoat in an arson conspiracy. In the end, Evelyn used the camera to help others seek the truth, and finally reunited with the father she had lost for so many years.
