Sold by My Son, I Became the Lady Sovereign
Marcia, who suffers from a strange genetic disorder, has skin on one side of her body that peels off like scales, causing her to face constant discrimination and humiliation from others in the city. She has two sons, Klaudius and Felix. One day, to save Felix's life after he stole from a slave owner, she signed a 20-year indentured servitude contract. However, the unrepentant Felix not only stole more gold from the slave owner but also lied, causing the slave owner to sell Klaudius into slavery. Twenty years passed in the blink of an eye. Felix was now engaged to a noblewoman, while Klaudius—who had been sold all those years ago—had inherited the title of the old count and was about to become the new count; he had been searching for Marcia all these years. One day, Klaudius happened to come across Marcia in danger and rescued her. However, as Marcia was leaving, Klaudius began to doubt her identity, so he set out to investigate whether she was his mother. Meanwhile, Marcia had been deceived by Felix into signing a contract of indentured servitude and a death certificate. Just as Marcia was eagerly looking forward to attending Felix's wedding, Felix was scheming to squeeze every last bit of value out of her before getting rid of her. It was at this moment that Klaudius confirmed Marcia was indeed the mother he had been searching for, so he decided to announce the happy news of their family reunion to everyone on the day of Felix's wedding. However, when Marcia eagerly arrived at Felix's wedding, she watched as he held up her "urn" and completely erased her existence. Unable to contain herself, she stepped forward to claim her son, only to be humiliated by everyone present. Just then, Klaudius—now the new Duke—arrived late to the wedding, what will become of Marcia's fate?
